Kim Hakkyu MMO Announcement in 2010

I was interested in whether or not Kim Hakkyu has been linked to any new projects lately. Apparently back in May 2009 he announced that he would be announcing a new project in 2010. I’m thrilled!
My only concern is that it will have a lot of cash shop. His first game, Ragnarok Online, was largely only pay to play for several years. A couple years back, they switched from pay to play and micro-transactions. This made a lot of people quit, especially if they were already getting a little burned out.
Kim also made Granado Espada/Sword of the New World, which is still my favorite game of all time. Amazing game. Gorgeous graphics, a decent story, a great mechanics system, and revolutionary 3 man family that you controlled. The only downside was the cash shop, it was required to be successful in the game.
I have faith that Kim is just following the MMO trend since he is first and foremost a business man, and that eventually he will make a true P2P again some day. Maybe 2010 will be the year it’ll happen!
